**Where does my tour start, and how will I find the guide?**
Every tour has a designated meeting point, shown on the tour page and in your booking confirmation. Your guide will be waiting in a bright red shirt — and they'll be looking out for you as much as you're looking for them.

**What happens if the weather is bad?**
“There is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.” Tours run rain, hail or shine, and are only cancelled when the Bureau of Meteorology issues a severe weather warning for the tour time, or when conditions would put the safety of our guests or guides at risk (at Two Feet's absolute discretion). If we cancel, you'll be rebooked at the earliest convenience or given a full refund. Please dress for the conditions — and be sun smart.

**Are bookings essential?**
Yes. Book online for real-time availability — online bookings close 24 hours before departure. For last-minute spots, call us on 1800 459 388.

**What is the cancellation policy?**
Cancellations less than 24 hours before travel are charged 100% of the booking as a cancellation fee. With more than 24 hours' notice you can change your tour date (subject to availability) or receive a full refund on retail tours. If Two Feet has to cancel a tour, prior payments are fully refunded (excluding third-party booking fees). Private, corporate and group bookings have their own cancellation terms to protect your exclusive experience, and gift certificates are not refundable.

**What if I'm running late?**
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Tours depart on time, and once underway our guides switch their phones off — catching up to a departed tour is difficult, if not impossible.

**What should I wear?**
Dress for the weather and for comfort — sensible shoes recommended. For tours visiting licensed venues, smart casual is the go.

**How can I book a private tour?**
We run private experiences for every kind of group: private hosts, small groups, primary school groups, high school/tertiary/international student groups, large groups up to 250 people, and PCOs/MICE events. Tell us about your group and requirements via the private tours enquiry form and we'll tailor the experience.

**How is a gift certificate delivered?**
Instantly. As soon as you check out, the certificate is emailed with its redemption code — ready to print, wrap, or forward straight to the recipient.

**Can a gift certificate be used on any tour?**
Yes. A dollar-value certificate goes towards any Two Feet walking tour at checkout. A certificate for a specific tour is set up for that experience — but if the recipient would rather do a different one, just email us and we'll swap it. Either way, they choose their own date and time when they're ready to book.

**How do I redeem a gift certificate?**
Every gift certificate has a 7-character redemption code (letters and numbers, e.g. V1V3XJ0). Select the tour your certificate is valid for, choose a departure date and time, and enter your code just before payment — the voucher value is deducted automatically. Gift certificates are valid for 3 years from purchase, in accordance with Australian law, and are not refundable for cash.

**Are gift certificates refundable?**
No — gift certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash. They are valid for three years from purchase (in line with Australian law), so the recipient has plenty of time to choose a tour that suits them.

**Can children come on tour?**
Children over 8 typically enjoy Fremantle Convicts & Colonials, the Coffee, Culture and Art tour, and Perth's Premier Pathways — and for private groups, the Perth and Fremantle scavenger hunts are particularly fun. Children under 8 may find the distances challenging. With prior notice, private tours can be modified to suit children. Some tours are adults-only — including Crimes of Perth, Crimes of Fremantle and the East Perth Cemeteries tour (16+) — and tours visiting licensed venues aren't suitable for minors.

**Are Two Feet tours for me?**
Yes! Two Feet tours are designed to appeal to all ages and demographics — we regularly host small children, seniors groups and everything in between. We've guided thousands of locals, interstate and international guests over the years, and they all love our tours. You will too.

**Is there much walking?**
It varies by tour, but we've never had anybody unable to complete a walk. Two-hour historical tours cover roughly 3km with frequent rest stops; three-hour bar and food tours are mostly spent indoors with short 5–10 minute strolls between venues. People of all ages join our tours, from the very young to the elderly.

**What's a good private dining experience for a team in Fremantle?**
The Two Feet Progressive Dinner is a guided three-course evening across three of Fremantle's finest restaurants, with drinks included throughout. A local guide leads the group between venues, sharing the stories of Fremantle's food scene as you go. It runs most Friday evenings as a public event for up to 20 guests, and can be booked as a fully private experience for corporate groups and special occasions. **Are there walking tours suitable for senior travellers in Perth?**
Yes. All Two Feet tours are designed for mixed ages and fitness levels, and we regularly host seniors groups and travellers with limited mobility. The Perth Premier Pathways and Fremantle Convicts & Colonials tours are the most popular with seniors — they cover 2–3km over two hours at a relaxed pace with frequent rest stops. **Can the walk feature my family's story?**
Each walk features one family drawn from the burial records, told at the graveside. The records are searchable on the East Perth Cemeteries website, so you can look your family up before you come, then add the name when you book. Your route card doubles as a research trail to follow at home.

**What is the ground like at East Perth Cemeteries?**
The cemeteries are a heritage site: paths are unpaved and uneven, and there is no artificial lighting. Flat, closed shoes are essential, and the route isn't suitable for prams or wheelchairs. The October tours run 4:00–6:00pm and finish at sunset, so the whole walk is in daylight.

**What should I bring on the East Perth Cemeteries tour?**
Flat closed shoes, water, and a hat and sunscreen for the 4pm start — October afternoons in Perth are warm. Please note there are no toilets available at the site, and the tour is not suitable for children under 16.

**Is this a ghost tour?**
No. Stories of the Past is a reverent heritage walk through colonial WA's oldest cemeteries, run in partnership with the National Trust of Australia (WA). The people buried here have living descendants — some of whom join the tour — so the stories are researched history, told with respect. No theatrics, no seances.

**Are the Crimes tours suitable for children?**
No — both Crimes of Perth and Crimes of Fremantle are adults-only. The tours cover thoroughly researched but confronting material, including crimes committed against children. Everything is delivered with sensitivity, but the content is for grown-ups.

**Are these ghost tours or real crime stories?**
Real cases only. Both tours are built on documented history — court records, newspapers and archives — researched and written by the guide who leads them. Colonial-era executions, gangland killings, riots and mutinies: no paranormal theatre, and sensitive cases are handled with care for the real victims behind them.

**Perth or Fremantle — which Crimes tour should I pick?**
Crimes of Perth walks the city and Northbridge: colonial executions, a murder at Government House, 1980s corporate crime, gangland killings and the opium dens of old Northbridge, finishing with a drink at a historic pub. Crimes of Fremantle uncovers the port's dark side — riots, theft, murders and mutinies — ending at the National Hotel. They're different stories on different Saturdays, so plenty of guests do both.

**Can we book a private Crimes tour for a work group?**
Yes. Both Crimes tours run as private experiences for groups up to 25 — a favourite for end-of-year and Christmas functions for teams too small for a scavenger hunt. Private departures can run on November dates outside the Saturday season. Enquire with your preferred date and group size and we'll confirm a guide.

**Can Dad choose his own date?**
Yes. Give the experience as a gift certificate and it is valid for three years, so Dad picks a date that suits him with no rush. You still give the exact experience, without racing the calendar.

**How long is a Two Feet gift certificate valid?**
Three years from purchase. It needs to be used in a booking before then, but the tour itself can fall after that date. Certificates work as part payment too, so a $100 certificate can go towards a $145 whisky tour with the difference paid at checkout.

**Which Father's Day experience suits Dad best?**
